Men's Basketball Unveils Non-Conference Slate

Broncos open the year on Nov. 10 vs. Hope, while trips to Michigan State, Iowa and Notre Dame beckon

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Western Michigan head men's basketball coach Clayton Bates has announced the non-conference portion of his team's 2021-22 schedule. The Broncos will open the year on Wednesday, Feb. 10, against Hope College.

Bates enters his second season at the helm of the WMU program this year and will test his team early and often. The non-conference schedule includes games at Michigan State, Iowa and Notre Dame, as well as an appearance in the Hilton Garden Inn FGCU Invitational hosted by Florida Gulf Coast in Fort Myers.

The remainder of the schedule will be released at a later date in conjunction with the Mid-American Conference.
