KALAMAZOO, Mich. –  The Western Michigan volleyball team and head coach 
Colleen Munson announced on Friday the addition of the Maddie Arundel to the 2021 roster.
Arundel joins the Broncos following one season at Ferris State and a decorated prep career at Marist High School under head coach Jordan Vidovic. Arundel led Marist High School to the Illinois State Championship in both 2017 and 2018 along with a final four appearance in 2019.
The Marist, Ill., native was an All-Conference and All-Area honoree her senior season. Arundel competed at the club level for the Michio Volleyball Academy. Heading into her senior campaign Arundel helped her 17-under club team finish third at the USAV Junior Nationals Championships and garnered all-tournament accolades.
Maddie is the daughter of Kate and Tim Arundel with three siblings. Maddie's mother played volleyball at Temple University and was the Atlantic 10 Player of the Year in 1993.
