Scouting the Broncos
Western Michigan returns to the diamond with an overall record of 11-15 and 10-6 in conference play. Last weekend the Broncos dropped three of four in non-conference action to SIU-Edwardsville. WMU has won back-to-back MAC series and looks to win three straight conference series for the first time since 2018.

th).
Two is Better than One
The Broncos rank third in the conference with 50 doubles this season. Individually, junior
Justin McIntyre leads the team and ranks fourth in the MAC with nine doubles.

Senior RHP
Will Mullen has been dominant out of the bullpen for the Broncos, posting a team-best 3-0 record with a 2.45 ERA in 29.1 innings of work. Mullen's 2.45 ERA is the fifth lowest in the MAC.
Lights Out
Out of the bullpen freshman Ryan Watt has been lights out for the Broncos, leading the pitching staff with a 0.89 ERA in 20.1 innings of work.

Sean O'Keefe enters the weekend series with a .304 batting average while leading the team in multi-hit games (9) and multi-RBI games (5).
Scouting the Competition
Bowling Green enters the weekend series on a three-game losing streak and an overall record of 9-17 and 7-9 in MAC play. Last weekend the Falcons home series with Miami was postponed due to issues with BGSU related to COVID-19. The weekend before BGSU dropped three of four at Central Michigan.
Offensively the Falcons are hitting .235 with 118 runs scored on 190 hits. At the plate BGSU is led by Kyle Gurney who leads the team in runs scored (18), home runs (4) and RBIs (17). Tyler Ross has BGSU's highest batting average at .327 with a .436 slugging percentage and a .439 on-base percentage.
On the mound Bowling Green owns a 6.11 ERA while holding opponents to a .289 batting average with 154 strikeouts. Leading the way is senior RHP Andrew Abrahamowicz with a 3-1 record and a 4.29 ERA in 42.0 innings of work. Â
