Aniya Davis won the hammer throw to highlight the WMU Track & Field team's opening day at the Hilltopper Relays hosted by Western Kentucky on Friday.
It was a light day for the Broncos with just the shot put and the hammer throw on the docket. Davis won an event for the third consecutive meet and claimed her first hammer victory of the season after throwing a distance of 174' 1" (53.06m). Fellow senior
Taylor Eaton finished right behind her in second place with a distance of 168' 8" (51.40m).

Madison Ochs took fifth overall in the shot put after throwing a distance of 41' 5.75" (12.64m)
