KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan track and field team heads on the road to Western Kentucky University for the 2021 Hilltopper Relays on Friday and Saturday.
The meet is the third of the outdoor season for the Broncos. WMU will have a light day on Friday with just the shot put, hammer throw. Saturday will be much busier with eight events, including the 800-meter run and the 1,500-meter run in which the Broncos will field 11 competitors in each race.
WMU is fresh off competing at the ADIDAS Winthrop Invitational, picking up three individual wins at the meet.
Aniya Davis won the discus for the second time this outdoor season, while
Juliane Sormain won the 800-meter run and
Brittney Hall won the 5,000-meter run.
Western Michigan is back on the road next week, heading to Drake University for the 44th annual Jim Duncan Invitational on Friday.
