Lindsey Zieglar has once again claimed Mid-American Conference Women's Tennis Singles Player of the Week for her performance in WMU's wins over Miami and Bowling Green.

Zieglar went 2-0 at No. 2 singles on the weekend to help the Broncos start out MAC play 2-0. Friday's match was tied 3-3 with the RedHawks and came down to the finish of Zieglar and Milana Lysova. Lysova took the first set 2-6 but Zieglar responded wining the second set 6-2. The Daytona Beach, Fla., native won the third set 6-3 to clinch the match win for the Broncos.Â

In Sunday's 4-3 win over she defeated Ionna Tsadari 6-4, 6-1, improving to 9-0 in singles play on the season and 4-0 at No. 2.Â

Zieglar is 9-0 in singles play this season with a 5-0 record at No. 1 and a 4-0 record at No. 2.

The Broncos are back in action this weekend, traveling to Eastern Michigan on Friday for a match at 1 p.m. WMU returns to Kalamazoo to host Ball State on Sunday at 1 p.m.
