CLEVELAND, Ohio – Western Michigan sophomore Lindsey Zieglar has been named Mid-American Conference Women's Singles Player of the Week for her performance in WMU's 7-0 win over Valparaiso on Saturday.
 
Zieglar was placed at No. 1 singles for the second time this season and defeated VALPO's Claire Czerwonka 6-4, 6-4. The win pushed Ziegler to 3-0 on the season, with a 2-0 record at No. 1 and 1-0 at No. 2.
 
This is the second time in her young career that she has earned MAC Singles Player of the Week.
 
Zieglar and the Broncos are back in action on Saturday with a road double-header at St. Bonaventure, beginning at 10 a.m.
