LAST TIME OUT
Western Michigan finished out its regular season home slate with a pair of victories against Akron over the weekend. After dropping the first set on Friday night, the Broncos rallied back to win in four, then took down the Zips in straight sets on Saturday afternoon to send seniors

SCOUTING THE HUSKIES
Northern Illinois has won four straight and clinched a spot in the MAC Championship with its win over Buffalo on Saturday. Katie Jablonski leads the NIU attack and ranks seventh in the conference at 3.34 kills/set. Setter Grace Balensiefer sits third in the league in assists/set at 10.78.
ALL-TIME SERIES
Western Michigan enters Wednesday's match with a 36-27 lead in the all-time series against Northern Illinois. The Broncos have taken each of the last four meetings, including a four-set victory over the Huskies on Sept. 28 in Kalamazoo.
Julia Marr led WMU with 18 kills while hitting .516 in the win.
MUNSON'S MILESTONE
With Western Michigan's win on Saturday,
Colleen Munson picked up her 331st victory as the head coach of the Broncos, tying her with Rob Buck for the most wins in program history. Buck spent 16 seasons at the helm of the Broncos from 1978-93, putting together a 331-179 record. Munson is 331-205 in her 17 seasons at Western Michigan.
HIGH FIVE
Logan Case was named the MAC West Setter of the Week on Monday for the fifth time so far this season. The sophomore totaled 100 assists (14.29/set) in WMU's sweep of Akron, bringing her to 1181 assists and 11.69 assists/set this season, both of which lead the Mid-American Conference. Her 11.69 assists/set also rank third in the country.
AMONG THE LEADERS
Western Michigan enters the final match of the regular season third in the conference in team hitting percentage at .240, led by freshmen
Kennedy Hogan (.365) and
Madison Merz (.305), who rank second and 10th, respectively. Junior
Maggie King ranks third in the league in kills per set at 3.78.
ON THE HORIZON
Western Michigan heads to the Mid-American Conference Championship in Muncie, Ind., beginning on Sunday, Nov. 21, with the quarterfinal round. WMU's seeding and quarterfinal opponent are to be determined following the conclusion of the regular season on Wednesday night.
