Broncos Earn More Doubles Wins to Close Out Beeman/Drobac Invite

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team finished off the Beeman/Droboc Invitational at Michigan State University on Sunday.

WMU picked up two more doubles wins with Jackson Boone and Brogan Pierce defeated MSU's Baylis and Pero 6-4, while Benjamin George and Jaoquin Caballer took down the Spartan duo of Gates and Campbell 7-5. Both teams went on to fall in the fourth round of doubles play.

George went on to pick up a win in singles play, defeating Illinois Nic Meister 6-2, 6-2. Caballer fell to MSU's Crocker 6-3, 6-4.

Western Michigan returns to Kalamazoo to shot the Vredevelt Invitational beginning on Saturday.
