Men's Tennis Earns More Wins at Beeman/Drobac Invite

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- The Western Michigan men's tennis team wrapped up the second day of competition at Michigan State's Beeman/Drobac Invitational on Saturday.  

The Broncos picked up two wins in doubles play. Jackson Boone and Brogan Pierce combined to take down MSU's Luke Baliss and Anthony Pero, 6-4. Also beating a pair of Spartans was Benjamin George and Joaquin Caballer. The duo beat Carson Gates and Jarreau Camobell 7-5. 

In singles the Broncos got wins from Ferdinand Schlueter and Pierce. Schlueter defeated MSU's Kazuki Matsuno 6-3, 6-0. Pierce took down Michigan State's Reed Crocker 6-4, 6-4. Schlueter later defeated Marquette's Ian Brady 7-5, 7-5.  

WMU closes out the invitational on Sunday.
