KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's soccer program and head coach Chad Wiseman have announced the schedule for the upcoming 2020-21 season.
 
The Broncos will host five games, all during Mid-American Conference play. Due to the impacts of COVID-19 there will be no MAC Tournament this season. The automatic bid for the NCAA Tournament will be given to the regular season champion, with each team playing each other home and away throughout.
 
WMU will open the season on Jan. 30 in an exhibition game against Xavier indoors at the Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield, Ind.  The Broncos open the regular season against Spring Arbor on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 1 p.m. The game will be played indoors at the Legacy Center in Brighton, Mich.
 
Western Michigan's final two non-conference games are on the road at Butler on Feb. 17 at 2 p.m. and against DePaul on Friday, Feb. 26 at the Grand Park Sports Campus at 3 p.m.
 
For MAC play the Broncos are on the road at Southern Illinois-Edwardsville on March 7 at 1 p.m., at Northern Illinois on March 17 at 2:30 p.m., at Akron on March 22 at 4 p.m., at Bowling Green on March 31 at 3 p.m. and at West Virginia on April 4 at 1 p.m.
 
Western Michigan welcomes WVU on March 14 to open MAC play at the WMU Soccer Complex at 1 p.m. NIU visits Kalamazoo on Sunday, March 28 at p.m. and the Broncos close out the regular season with three straight home games against BGSU on April 7 at 3 p.m., SIUE on April 11 at 1 p.m. and Akron on April 18 at 12 p.m.
 
Fan attendance policy is still to be determined.
