CLEVELAND -- The Mid-American Conference released its 2020 Football Academic All-MAC selections on Friday, with 16 Western Michigan student-athletes among the honorees.
The Broncos have had at least 16 Academic All-MAC selections in all four seasons under head coach
Tim Lester, who himself was a three-time Academic All-MAC selection as a player at WMU. Western Michigan's 69 Academic All-MAC selections during that time are second-most in the league.
Among the 16 Broncos selected in 2020,
Mike Caliendo earned his fourth Academic All-MAC distinction, while
Harrison Taylor,
Tanner Motz,
Dylan Deatherage and
Mark Brooks are now three-time honorees.
Luke Sanders,
Jake Moertl,
Wesley French and
Cam Cooper have been selected twice.
