KALAMAZOO, Mich. – PrepVolleyball.com released its annual Division I college recruiting rankings on Wednesday with Western Michigan volleyball earning honorable mention for one of the best recruiting classes in the country.

Under the direction of head coach Colleen Munson the 2020 recruiting class consists of Barakat Adekola (OH/MB, Aurora, Illinois), Mairead Boyle (L/DS, Palos Heights, Illinois), Logan Case (S, Maineville, Ohio), Andelyn Simkins (OH, Schoolcraft, Mich.), Abi Wilcoxsin (OH, Spring Arbor, Mich.).

The rankings of the 2020 recruiting class are put together by a panel of college coaches from across the country representing all three NCAA women's volleyball divisions, determining the top list of recruiting classes.

Below is the accomplishments and accolades of the 2020 recruiting class:

Mairead Boyle • Libero/DS • Palos Heights, Illinois • Marist High School
Boyle is a two-time IHSA 4A State champion at Marist High School. As captain during her senior campaign, Boyle earned ESCC All-Conference honors and was named to the AVCA Under Armour All-American Watch list as she helped Marist to a 34-2 regular season record.

Logan Case • Setter • Maineville, Ohio • Ursuline Academy
Case during her prep career guided Ursuline Academy to a 77-8 record while capturing two state championships. Case for her career recorded 3,842 assists, 136 service aces, 1155 digs, 222 kills and 113 blocks. Case was named GGCL and District 16 Player of the Year. Case was also named a Third Team Under Armour All-America.  Case has earned First-Team All-State honors in consecutive seasons and was a Prep Volleyball All-American in 2018.

Andelyn Simkins • Outside Hitter • Schoolcraft, Mich. • Schoolcraft High School
In her prep career Simkins became Schoolcraft's career leader in kills and digs and eclipsed 2,000 career kills, just the 18^th player in MHSAA history to do so. Simkins is a two-time First Team All-State selection while earning Second Team All-State honors her freshman season. Simkins is also a three-time First Team All-SAC and All-Region honoree. In her senior season, Simkins was one of 10 finalists for Michigan Miss Volleyball

Abi Wilcoxson • Outside Hitter • Spring Arbor, Mich. •  Parma Western High School
As a three-year varsity starter, Wilcoxson guided Parma Western High School to a 44-4-1 record with 1,557 career kills. Wilcoxson was named team MVP each of the past two years and during her senior campaign earned All-State, Region, Conference and District honors.

Barakat Adekola • Outside Hitter/Middle Blocker • Aurora, Ill. •  East Aurora High School
At East Aurora High School Adekola was an outside and middle hitter for the Tomcats and earned All-Conference and All-Area honorable mention honors. Adekola is a three-sport athlete at East Aurora, competing in volleyball, basketball and track & field.
