KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan softball team received five National Letters of Intent during the early signing period, head coach
Kathy Leitke announced on Thursday.
Mary Smithnosky, Lauren Porter, Jessica Reia, Taylor Wolfe and Jordan Kavanagh signed National Letters of Intent to play for the Brown & Gold during the 2022 season.
"We are excited to add 5 new players to Bronco Softball. I'm extremely pleased that each of these young ladies have stayed committed to their game and to WMU under challenging COVID-19 related circumstances," said Leitke. "Each of them bring talent and competitiveness on the field and have a strong emphasis on their academic career as well."
