KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Prior to the Western Michigan football team's season opener on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at Akron, head coach Tim Lester met with the media on Thursday.

The Broncos were picked to finish second in the MAC West Preseason Coaches' Poll and fourth in the MAC West Preseason Media Poll.
