KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Junior safety A.J. Thomas was a multiple-sport athlete in high school and led his University of Detroit Jesuit basketball program to the state championship in 2016. 

Now entering his third year at Western Michigan, and second as a starter, Thomas recently sat down with Bronco Productions to look back at his high school career and share his excitement about the 2019 campaign. 

Western Michigan has 18 practices during fall camp before opening the season Saturday, August 31 against Monmouth. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. on ESPN3.
