KALAMAZOO, Mich.  –  With the month of June coming to a close, it's time for the first summer ball update as 18 Western Michigan baseball student-athletes have been competing summer collegiate baseball leagues around the country

Below is an update on each Bronco so far this summer:

CAPE COD LEAGUE
Falmouth Commodores (Team Record: 6-7-1)
Blake Dunn - .235 BA • 7 RBIs • 8 hits • 1 double • .417 OBP • .265 Slug% • 4 SB

• Ranks 5^th on the team in hits (8)
• Ranks 9^th in the Cape Cod League in stolen bases (4)
• Third on the team in RBIs
• Second on the team in stolen bases
• Went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, one double, one walk on June 29

 
GREAT LAKES SUMMER COLLEGIATE LEAGUE
Muskegon Clippers (Team Record: 11-12)
Brady Miller – 3-0 • 1.55 ERA • 18.0 IP • 22 strikeouts • 4 appearances (3 starts)

• Tied for the league lead in victories
• Ranks second on the team in strikeouts
• Has recorded at least six strikeouts in three of his four appearances

• Ranks seventh on the team in batting average
• Leads the team and ranks 9^th in the league in walks
• Registered a hit in seven of the last 10 games
