WMU Announces Football Game with Wisconsin

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan Division of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced today a contract to play a future road game at the University of Wisconsin.

The Broncos will travel to Camp Randall Stadium on Sept. 5, 2026 for the sixth-ever meeting between the two programs. UW holds the all-times series at 4-1, with the last meeting coming in the 2017 Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic. Western Michigan's win came back on Sept. 3, 1988, 24-14, at Wisconsin.

WMU previously announced future road games at Michigan (Sept. 4, 2021), at Iowa (Sept. 2, 2023) and at Illinois (Sept. 20, 2025).

The Western Michigan football team will also be announcing future non-conference games on Wednesday and Friday of this week at www.wmubroncos.com.
