Scouting the Broncos
Western Michigan heads into Wednesday's match-up with an overall record of 6-16 and 0-3 in Mid-American Conference play. The Broncos dropped a three-game series at Ball State last weekend, scoring 23 runs on 30 hits with 15 runs coming in the series finale on Sunday.

In their second match-up of the season Western Michigan and Michigan State will meet at Comerica Park, home of the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday, April 2 at 6:05 p.m. It will be the second time in three years the two teams have played at Comerica Park

B1G Match-Up
The Broncos are looking to clinch their seventh victory over a team from the Big Ten Conference since 2013. Last season WMU claimed two wins over the Big Ten, defeating Michigan State and Northwestern.
