CHICAGO – Western Michigan men's basketball senior
Seth Dugan has been named to the Late Season Watch List for the 2019 Dos Equis 3X3U National Championship on Tuesday.
Dugan is one of eight Mid-American Conference players on the list for the second year tournament that takes place at the Mall of American in Bloomington, Minn. Ultimately four players will represent each Division I conference with final rosters to be announced in the coming weeks.
The 3X3U National Championship will pit all-star teams from college basketball's 32 conferences against each other in a three day, 3-on-3 tournament. In the inaugural tournament a year ago the Big Ten team of Purdue's Vincent Edwards, Indiana's Robert Johnson, Minnesota's Nate Mason and Ohio State's Jae'Sean Tate took home the title.
Dugan is averaging 15.7 points per game this season and ranks second in the conference with 11 double-doubles. During MAC play the Otsego, Mich., native is averaging 16.4 points and 9.6 rebounds.
