Scouting the Broncos
Western Michigan heads into Saturday's contest with an overall record of 4-5 and has lost four straight. On Tuesday the Broncos fell to in-state foe Oakland, 72-62 for their first home loss of the season.
Protecting the Ball
Averaging just 11.4 turnovers per game this season, the Broncos rank 30
th in the NCAA and third in the MAC in fewest turnovers per game. Against Oakland on Tuesday WMU had just five turnovers, its fewest in a game since having four versus Toledo on Jan. 23, 2018.
