Scouting the Broncos
Western Michigan heads into Saturday's contest with an overall record of 4-5 and has lost four straight. On Tuesday the Broncos fell to in-state foe Oakland, 72-62 for their first home loss of the season.

Protecting the Ball
Averaging  just 11.4 turnovers per game this season, the Broncos rank 30^th in the NCAA and third in the MAC in fewest turnovers per game. Against Oakland on Tuesday WMU had just five turnovers, its fewest in a game since having four versus Toledo on Jan. 23, 2018.

Junior guard Michael Flowers has blossomed into one of the best scorers in the country ranking near the top in both the MAC and NCAA in:

Home Sweet Home
Since 2014 WMU has played well inside University Arena during non-conference play, posting a 24-7 record. The Broncos are 3-1 at home this season and with a win can improve its record to 4-1 for the first time since the 2015-16 campaign.
