KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan football team closed out the 2019 home season in style with a 35-31 victory against Ball State to finish the year 6-0 inside Waldo Stadium. The Broncos are bowl eligible for a program-record sixth consecutive season after wrapping up their third undefeated home season since 2000.

Leading the way was senior running back LeVante Bellamy, who finished with 157 yards and three touchdowns on 31 attempts. For just the fourth time in school history, a quarterback ran for more than 100 yards as senior Jon Wassink rushed for 131 yards and one touchdown on six attempts. Wassink averaged 21.8 yards per carry including a career-long 60-yard rush just five plays into the game.

Bronco Productions had the game covered from all angles in this 10th edition of The Drive.

Western Michigan returns to the field Tuesday with a 7:30 p.m. clash at Ohio.
