KALAMAZOO, Mich. – With basketball season in full swing the Western Michigan men's and women's basketball teams released its Promotional schedule for upcoming games inside University Arena.
Below are the details for the 2019-20 Men's Basketball Promotional Schedule
- Dec. 3 – 7 PM – Oakland – Ugly Sweater Game
- First 250 students will receive a WMU ugly sweater
- Fans are encouraged to wear their best holiday themed ugly sweater to be entered into a contest. Prizes handed out to the five best ugly sweaters.
- Jan. 14 – 7 PM – Bowling Green – Official " Zoo" T-Shirt Giveaway
- Students will receive the official "Zoo" t-shirt sponsored by Meijer (while supplies last)
- Jan. 18 – 4 PM – Kent State – Suits & Sneakers
- All fans are encouraged to dress up (suit up) in their best attire and wear their kicks (sneakers). The top three best dressed winners will receive a pair of Adidas sneakers.
- Fans will receive custom WMU dress socks (while supplies last)
- Feb. 1 – 2 PM – Central Michigan – Alumni Game
- Welcoming back WMU men's basketball alumni
- Feb. 8 – 4 PM – Ball State – Super Hero Game
- Dress up as your favorite superhero
- Feb. 29 – 4PM – Northern Illinois – GOLD Out
- March 3 – 7 PM – Eastern Michigan – Senior Day

- Dec. 14 – 2 PM – Chicago State – Ugly Sweater Game

- Welcoming back WMU women's basketball alumni
- Jan. 25 – 2 PM – Akron – Princess Day
- All fans are encouraged to dress like a princess with a prize given to the best princesses.
- Feb. 8 – 2 PM – Eastern Michigan – Play4Kay Game
- Feb. 12 – 7 PM – Buffalo – Sorority Night
- The Sorority that has the best percentage of their roster in attendance AND is the most spirited during the game will win $500 for their chapter.
- Feb. 29 – 2 PM – Northern Illinois – GOLD OUT
- All fans are encouraged to WEAR GOLD
- March 7 – 2 PM – Ball State – Senior Day
