Scouting the Broncos
Western Michigan has an overall record of 3-0 after defeating McNeese State, Milwaukee and Mississippi Valley State to begin the season. The Broncos currently rank third in the MAC at 93.7 points per game with junior Michael Flowers leading the team at 25.3 points per game.

Recent History with the Rebels
WMU and Ole Miss met on the hardwood for the first time a year ago with the Rebels coming away with a 90-64 victory over the Broncos. Last season in Oxford, Miss., the Broncos offensively were led by senior guard Jared Printy with a career-high 17 points.

Through the first three games of the season Western Michigan has scored 281 points, the most through the first three games in program history.

Heading into Friday's match-up, WMU ranks first in the NCAA in free-throws made (94) and free-throws attempted (123). As a team the Broncos are shooting 76.4 percent from the charity stripe.

Flowers Continues to Score the Basketball
Junior guard Michael Flowers has recorded 76 points this season, the most points by a Bronco through the first three games under head coach Steve Hawkins. The Southfield, Mich., native is shooting 56.4 percent from the field, 90.5 percent from the free-throw line and a staggering 76.5 percent from three.

Bench Production
The Broncos have gotten 20 or more points off the bench in every game this season. WMU had 20 points off the bench in just six games a year ago.
