KALAMAZOO, Mich. – After averaging a double-double in two games last week, senior
Seth Dugan has been named Mid-American Conference Co-West Division Player of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday.
Against Ohio and Eastern Michigan, Dugan shot a staggering 70 percent from the field and 83 percent from the free-throw line. The Otsego, Mich., native registered a double-double in both games, scoring 23 and 15 rebounds at Ohio followed by 29 points and 10 rebounds vs. EMU.
Dugan matched his career-high with 12 made field goals against Eastern Michigan, going 12-of-16 from the field and was three points shy of his career-high with 29. At Ohio, Dugan scored 23 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field.
With eight double-doubles this season, Dugan ranks third in the MAC and 31
st in the NCAA in double-doubles. His eight double-doubles is the most by a Bronco in a season since Shayne Whittington had 14 back in 2013.
Overall Dugan is averaging 15.6 points and 8.8 rebounds per game this season, both ranking first on the team. In conference play, Dugan is averaging 16.4 points and 9.4 rebounds. It's the second time this season Dugan has earned MAC West Player of the Week honors.
