NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Western Michigan women's tennis team was swept by the University of Notre Dame 7-0 on Friday, Jan. 18, dropping to 1-1 overall on the season.Â
The Fighting Irish squad featured two doubles pairs in the ITA Top 60 National Doubles Rankings, with Ally Bojczuk & Bess Waldram coming in at No. 29, followed by the duo of Cameron Corse and Zoe Spence ranked at No. 44.
Notre Dame took the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 spots, while the Broncos' No. 2 pair of

Katja Fevralev's match was unfinished.Â
In singles play, UND took all six points.Â
Melina Lyubomirova won the sole set for WMU, falling 2-6, 6-3, 2-6 against Waldram at the No. 1 position.Â
Western Michigan returns home to host the University of DePaul on Sunday, Jan. 20. The Broncos and Blue Demons are scheduled to matchup at 11 a.m. from West Hills Athletic Club.Â
