KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Home-and-home series with Bowling Green, Ferris State and Michigan highlight the Western Michigan hockey team's 2018-19 non-conference schedule.

The Broncos will open 2018-19 with its annual "Border Battle" game against Lethbridge College on Saturday, Oct. 6. WMU has a quick turnaround and officially opens the regular season hosting the rival Falcons on Tuesday Oct. 9.  Western Michigan then travels to FSU on Friday before hosting the Bulldogs on Saturday, Oct. 13.

WMU battles the University of Michigan at Yost Arena, the first road trip to Yost since Dec. 15, 2012, on Oct. 19. The Wolverines return to Lawson for the first time since March 16, 2013, the following night.

Western Michigan also hosts Niagara on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. The Broncos will also compete in a tournament during the semester break that has yet to be announced.
