KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's cross country team is set for split-squad meets this weekend. On Friday, Oct. 12, six Broncos will compete at Bradley University's Pink Classic in Peoria Ill. prior to WMU's top-seven competing in the Pre-National Invitational 6K on Saturday, Oct. 13, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Madison at Zimmer Championship Course.

The Broncos last competed in the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational on Friday, Sept. 28, placing 4
th overall of 18 teams in the Women's Gold Division 5K. Senior captain
Sarah Anderson led the way for the Broncos, with a personal-best time this season to take fifth overall.
Bradley Pink Classic

Kailyn Mince,
Lila Rode, and
Olivia VandePol are set to participate at the Bradley Pink Classic. The 6K race is set to takeoff at 4:15 p.m. (ET) on Friday from Newman Golf Course. Other Mid-American Conference competitors will include Bowling Green, Kent State, and Toledo.
Wisconsin Pre-Nationals
The Broncos will take place in the Cardinal seeded race beginning at 11 a.m. (ET) with their top-seven runners ofÂ

Maria McDaniel,
Juliane Sormain,
Paisley Sipes,
Chloe McEachern, and
Brittney Hall.
Among Western Michigan competing in the seeded 6K include MAC foe Miami University and several ranked opponents including No. 1 Colorado and No. 4 Oregon, No. 7 Arkansas, No. 9 BYU, and many more.Â
Last year's Pre-National race took place in Louisville, Ky. The Broncos took 10th place with a team score of 306 asÂ
Hanne Christensen finished first overall in a field of 261 runners with a time of 20:48.5.
