Zach Terrell Named for Consideration for AFCA Good Works Team

NORTHBROOK, Ill. – Western Michigan senior quarterback Zach Terrell has been named as a nominee for the AFCA Good Works Team, Allstate Insurance and the American Football Coaches Association Announced today. The Good Works Team recognizes college football players who have made a commitment to service and enriching the lives of others.

Terrell is currently finishing his MBA after completing his undergraduate degree in December, 2015. He is involved with a number of community service organizations such as Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Tree of Life Bronco Buddies and the Special Olympics to name a few. During spring break the last two years, he has taken a group of Western Michigan student-athletes to the Dominican Republic for a mission trip.

Once the final team members are announced in September, fans are encouraged to visit the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team® website on ESPN.com, featuring profiles and images of the players, for the opportunity to vote for the 2016 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team® Captain.

In order to meet the criteria set forth by Allstate and the AFCA, each player must be actively involved with a charitable organization or service group while maintaining a strong academic standing.
