WMU improved to 4-2 overall and 2-1 on the road while the Bison fell to 1-6 on the young season. The Bison hit a 3-pointer with 4.0 seconds left in the game to bring the score to 66-63, but the Broncos were able to ice the game away from the free-throw line, where the team scored its final seven points. WMU went 0-for-9 from beyond the arc, making this the first time in 58 games the team did not make a 3-pointer.

The Bison opened the game hot, hitting their first three shots,  two coming from beyond the arc, to gain a 9-2 advantage early. The Broncos came back to regain the lead using a 15-2 run during the first and second quarters. Junior Alexis Parks had a put-back layup as the buzzer sounded to end the first half and give the Broncos a 30-29 lead.

In the third quarter, Mobley took over, scoring 12 of her 16 points. WMU outscored the Bison 17-12 in third quarter, continuing their dominance in the second half. The Broncos moved to 4-0 this season when leading after three quarters; they finished 15-2 last season when leading after three.

Hill poured in a career-high 24 points while Mobley added 16. The duo combined to go 15-for-20 from the floor and 10-for-11 from the free-throw line. Sophomore Deja Wimby, the Mid-American Conference's leader in steals, finished with a game-high four steals, scored nine points and led the team in both assists (5) and rebounds (6).

The Broncos will head back to Kalamazoo for two straight home games, first with Loyola-Chicago on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. and next with Fort Wayne on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m.
