KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan men's tennis team finished up play at the River Forest Invitational on Sunday afternoon for the Broncos first action of the 2015-16 season. Over the weekend, the Broncos went 10-7 in singles and 5-4 in doubles action in the three days of competition.
Daniel Loebel went a perfect 3-0 in singles play while Matej Svjetlicic, Ruben Greiner and Stephen Payne each went 2-1.
Stephen Payne was lone Bronco to earn a win in Flight C singles, but it didn't come easy as he battled back from losing the first set 6-3 to winning the next two including an 11-9 tiebreaker win.
