Head Coach Steve Hawkins:

"Another tough Western/Central game, I thought both teams really went after it… We played outstanding the first half, and in the second half I thought Central came out with more energy, but then we started making shots and were able to keep them at arms distance, a lot of that is making  timely shots… This is the first time we have dressed everybody in a while and to have full team was important tonight, we were able to get good minutes from the bench and stay fresh all night… We have to set our own tone right now, we are happy with how we are playing and this will be a quick celebration because we have a game on Monday… We are in the final chapter of the season… I don't want to hear anything about how we have to play five games in the tournament, we get to play five games, playing basketball is a privilege and not everybody gets to play this time of year, getting a chance to continue the season is just awesome… This is a team that has faced adversity all year long, but they grinded it out, and we are excited about playing Monday night.”
