WMU to Celebrate the Life of Lenore Doolittle

The wife of former WMU football coach Bill Doolittle will be celebrated during a reception to be held in the W Club Room of the Seelye Athletic Center.

The Celebration of Life will take place from 6-8 p.m. and is free of charge.  Anyone wishing to make a donation may do so in Lenore's name to the Alzheimer's Association.

Lenore passed away on July 23 and was 87 years old.  She was born in Mansfield, Ohio.  She and Coach Doolittle had two children, a daughter and son, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Coach Doolittle roamed the sidelines for the Broncos from 1964-74, leading WMU to 58 victories and a share of the 1966 Mid-American Conference title.
