CLEVELAND - Jordan White offensively and Lewis Toler defensively headline the list of 14 Western Michigan football student-athletes to earn spots on Phil Steele's Preseason All-Mid-American Conference Team. White and Toler are first team selections with the Broncos earning seven second team selections, four third team selections and one fourth team selection.
White, who was granted a sixth year by the NCAA, enters his final season in the Brown & Gold with 2,276 receiving yards, 166, catches and 15 career receiving TDs, all ranking in the top 10 in each category. Toler enters his sophomore season after leading the MAC in take aways and earning Rivals.com Freshman All-America honors.
Alex Carder (QB), Tevin Drake (RB), Dann O'Neill (OT), Drew Nowak (DT), Mitch Zajac (LB), John Potter (K) and Ben Armer (P) are the Second Team Phil Steele Preseason All-MAC selections.
Anthony Parker (OT), Paul Hazel (DE) and Doug Wiggins (S) are the third team selections, while Robert Arnheim (WR) appears on the list as a fourth team selection.
Carder, Hazel, Potter and White were recognized as All-MAC by the conference office following the 2010 football season. Toler was recognized by Phil Steele.
