Hiller Plays in the Texas vs. The Nation Game This Saturday at 2 p.m. ET

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Quarterback Tim Hiller will participate in the 2010 Texas vs. The Nation Challenge on Feb. 6, 2010 at 2 p.m. (ET) in El Paso, Texas.  Hiller is the fifth Bronco in the past three seasons to earn an invite to the postseason all-star game.  Watch on DirecTV CH 613, Dish Network CH 152, Bell TV CH 413, and Sky Angel CH 323.

Hiller, who has been training in Los Angeles, finished his Bronco career as the career, season and game record holder for passing yards, attempts, completions and total offense; the career and season record holder for passing TDs, total offensive plays and 300-yard passing games.  He was recently named Second Team All-Mid-American Conference and Second Team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America.

Texas vs. the Nation began as an idea to bring a sense of rivalry and teamwork back to the all-star arena. After considering other locations including Aruba, the Bahamas, Phoenix, and San Diego, CEO Kenny Hansmire selected El Paso and the Sun Bowl Stadium to host the inaugural game. Texas vs. the Nation would pit top collegiate senior all-stars with ties to the state of Texas against top seniors from around the Nation.

Hiller joins former WMU teammates James Blair (2008), Londen Fryar (2009), Branden Ledbetter (2009) and Jamarko Simmons (2009) to earn an invite to this game.  Tickets for the 2010 Texas vs. The Nation Challenge go on sale on Dec. 5.  Ticket prices range from $8 to $40. Group packages are available by calling (915) 544-9000.  Kick off is set for 2 p.m. EST (12 p.m. MST).
