PRE-GAME

  • WMU and CMU battle for the 80th time with the Broncos looking for only their second win in Kelly/Shorts Stadium since Sept. 8, 1973 and the first since Nov. 23, 2002
  • This is the third installation of the "Battle for the Cannon"
  • WMU has scored at least 20 points in eight of the last nine meetings against CMU
  • CMU is the fourth of four teams on WMU's schedule with a new coach in 2010
  • WMU leads the nation in fourth down attempts (28) and conversions (16) heading into this week's play
  • Juan Nunez currently ranks sixth on the careeer receptions list at WMU with 155
  • Juan Nunez and Jordan White rank seventh (1,941) and ninth (1,846) in career receiving yards at WMU, respectively

SECOND QUARTER

  • Mario Armstrong records his third INT of the season and give WMU 10 for the year; stops CMU drive at WMU 2-yard line

THIRD QUARTER

  • Jordan White hauls in second TD of game (eighth of season) and goes over 100 yards for ninth time in career (fifth time this season)
  • White becomes seventh Bronco receiver to go over 1,000 yards receiving in a season
  • White has two TDs in a game for the fourth time in his career and third time this season
  • Alex Carder joins Tim Lester and Tim Hiller as the only Bronco QBs to throw for at least 20 TDs in a season
  • John Potter extends consecutive PATs made streak to 55, tying Mike Prindle (1981-84) for the third longest streak; Potter remains perfect on the season (33-for-33)
  • Juan Nunez hauls in seventh TD of the season and Potter makes PAT streak 56-straight
  • Carder with fifth multi-TD game of the season and fourth game with three or more passing TDs

FOURTH QUARTER

  • There have been eight fumbles combined by both teams in the game, four combined lost fumbles
  • Juan Nunez has hauled in 10 or more catches in a game for the third time this season
  • John Potter attempts longest FG of season (46 yds)
  • Nunez and White go over 100 yards receiving in the same game for the second time this season
