KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Jordan White hauled in a career high 14 catches for a career high 180 yards and his sixth touchdown of the season against Northern Illinois en route to earning Mid-American Conference West Division Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career.
Despite coming in a losing effort, White had a career day with 14
receptions for 180 yards and a TD, his team leading sixth of the
season. His 180 yards are the eighth most in a game in WMU history and
his 14 catches are the fourth most in a game in program history.
He now
has 938 yards receiving this season, ranking ninth at WMU, and 1,846
career receiving yards, also ranking ninth at WMU. His 186 career
catches ranks fourth at WMU and his eight career 100-yard receiving
games ranks fourth as well. He has racked up over 100 yards receiving
in four games in 2010, matching his 2009 career high total.
White is the third Bronco to earn MAC West Offensive POTW and the second in as many weeks. His selection gives the WMU football team seven nods so far this season.
