PRE-GAME

  • The last time WMU defeated Ball State, it was Oct. 21, 2006 on BSU's homecoming and Ryan Cubit (current WMU QB coach) was the starting quarterback
  • WMU's Ameer Ismail tied the NCAA record for sacks in a game (6.0) the last time WMU defeated Ball State

  • Raheam Buxton and Demetrius Pettway will get their first career starts this week
