WMU vs. Northern Illinois Game Notes

Pregame

-  WMU leads the all-time series 23-12 against the Huskies, owning a 12-5 advantage at Waldo Stadium.

-  WMU is hosting its 11th Annual Education Day.

-  Today's game is being carried on a regional ESPN affiliate. The Broncos are 2-3 in televised contests this season.

-  The Huskies are looking for their first back-to-back wins against the Broncos since 2004-05.

-  WMU carries a two-game MAC winning streak into the game, with the Huskies have won all four of their league match-ups this season. Northern Illinois has a five-game win streak overall (Minnesota, Akron, Temple, Buffalo and Central Michigan).

-  The Huskies carry a three-game road winning streak into play.

Third Quarter

-  First points allowed in second half by Northern Illinois since Oct. 2 (Akron).

-  Season-high in receiving yards for Robert Arnheim and first touchdown catch of season. He has also tied his season high with five receptions.

-  Spann has reached 1,000 yards for the second consecutive season.

-  Fourth touchdown catch of the season for Huskies WR Willie Clark.

-  New career-high receiving yards for White.

-  Season-high in catches and yards for Arnheim.

Postgame

-  WMU WR Jordan White sets career-highs in catches (14) and yards (180). White's 14 catches are the third highest total in school history, tying him with Jamarko Simmons (twice) and Steve Neal. He now has 953 yards receiving on the season, which is ninth in school history and has led the team in receiving yards six times this season.

-  Northern Illinois RB Chad Spann reaches 1,000 yards for the second consecutive season.

-  WMU WR Juan Nunez extends reception streak to 28 consecutive games.

-  Northern Illinois has defeated WMU two times in a row for the first time since 2004-05.

-  Season-highs in receptions (6) and yards (81) for WMU WR Robert Arnheim, and a career-high in receiving yards for Brian Fields (8).
