The Western Michigan men's soccer team opened exhibition action with a 6-0 victory over Bryst International of Toronto on Friday afternoon at the WMU Soccer Complex.
Forward Tom Oatley scored three times in a span of three minutes to help the Bronco build a 5-0 advantage after 45 minutes of play. Jeffrey Jaber and Dustin Snyder scored the other first-half markers.
WMU continued its domination in the second half, but was held off the board until two minutes were left when Steve Zbikowski converted on a nice cross in front of the net.
The Broncos host Tiffin on Sunday before closing the exhibition season at IUPU-Indianapolis on Aug. 26.
