Allyson Doyle

After spending four seasons as a starting outside hitter for the Western Michigan volleyball team, Allyson Doyle enters her second season as the Director of Volleyball Operations for the Broncos. Doyle will work as the team's liaison to the Spiker's Club, alumni, and the WMU Marketing department. She will also be responsible for planning the team's community outreach programs, utilizing social media to better interact with fans, and assist the rest of the coaching staff with summer volleyball camps, travel accommodations, and other administrative duties.

A four-year starter for the Broncos, Doyle was instrumental in helping WMU capture three straight MAC West titles from 2007-09. Doyle was honored as First-Team All-MAC in 2009 and Second-Team All-MAC in 2010, was named to the MAC All-Freshman team in 2007, and was named Academic All-MAC in 2009-10. In 2008, Doyle helped the Broncos to an outright MAC title and a trip to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. Doyle ranks second in career digs at WMU with 1,648, and 12th in career kills with 1,188.

Doyle was a standout in the classroom as well. In addition to her two Academic All-MAC honors, Doyle earned CoSIDA/ESPN Academic All-District VI honors in both 2009 and 2010, and in 2010 became the first WMU player in nearly 20 years to be named an Academic All-American. She was named one of the finalists for the Lowe's Senior Class Award, and was named the 2010-11 WMU Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Doyle graduated from Western Michigan in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology & Audiology. She is currently pursuing her masters in Speech/Language Pathology.
