Matt Kellogg

The 2006 campaign will mark Matt Kellogg’s second season as full-time assistant coach with the Western Michigan women’s program.

Kellogg worked with the men’s and women’s teams on a volunteer basis in 2004 and has played a key role in the program’s summer camps for the past two years.
 
Kellogg has been heavily involved in the West Michigan soccer community for several years. He has held coaching positions with the Michigan Olympic Development Program, Kalamazoo Kingdom and Plainwell High School.  He currently serves as an assistant coach for the 1989 birthyear ODP class.  

He also served as the head women’s coach at Kalamazoo College in 2003. Eight of the student-athletes he recruited went on to earn all-conference accolades.

A native of East Lansing, Mich., Kellogg was a member of the men’s soccer team (1996-98) at Butler University, where he graduated with a degree in marketing in 2000.  He also earned a master’s in sports administration from WMU in 2005.

He is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and holds a National "C" License.

Matt is single and resides in Kalamazoo.
