Hogan Vivier

Hogan Vivier

Hogan Vivier was hired to the position of women's assistant soccer coach in July of 2020. Vivier joins WMU after spending the last two seasons at Troy.

Vivier helped the Trojans to a 12-3-4 mark in 2019, including a 7-1-2 Sun Belt Conference record. Troy’s 12 victories marked the program’s most since 2015 and the squad accumulated 41 goals, the most for a Trojan team since 2014 and the third most in program history. The Trojans were dominant in the 2019 regular season, outscored their opponents 41-16 and 24-8 in league matches. The 2019 campaign was a seven-win jump from the 2018 season and represented three more conference victories.

Prior to her time at Troy, Vivier earned four letters (2012-13-14-15) at Brown University, where she was a defender who played in 34 games with 16 starts. During the 2013 campaign, the Bears tallied 10 victories and finished third in the Ivy League. Vivier also enjoyed three wins against Yale during her tenure. Vivier’s final game at Brown was also the final game for 39-year head coach Phil Pincince, who coached 633 games at Brown.

A Rhode Island native, Vivier graduated from Brown in 2016 and began coaching at her former elementary and high school, The Wheeler School, while still in college. After graduating with a degree in education with a focus in human development, she continued to work at The Wheeler School as assistant varsity coach for the girls’ soccer, basketball and lacrosse teams.

Vivier has a USSF "E" license. She has worked at Brown women's soccer clinics and as an ACT at Region 1 camp coaching and evaluating players to be selected for the Regional Team.
