Skyler Young

Young embarks on his third season as assistant coach. His responsibilities include working with Bronco guards, in addition to scouting opponents, recruiting and serving as video coordinator.

Young previously spent six seasons as a manager for WMU. He specialized with the day-to-day operations for the women’s basketball team which included film exchange, travel and practice organization.

As a manager, Young was part of two postseason appearances with the Broncos, including a MAC Championship and NCAA Tournament berth in 2003, and a Final Eight finish of the 2004 WNIT. He graduated in the spring of 2005 from WMU with a degree in business administration.

Young was also a member of the 2005 Seattle Storm staff which participated in the first round of the WNBA playoffs.

Young is single and resides in Kalamazoo, Mich.
