Hudson begins her first season as Director of Basketball Operations/Player Development for WMU Women's Basketball in 2020-21. Hudson was hired back on Sept. 15, 2020.Â
Hudson's role with the Broncos will be to monitor all academic progress of the student-athletes while assisting with travel plans for the team and coaches. Hudson will also organize and manage team managers, organize film for scouting purposes, assist with on-campus recruiting visits and organize community service activities for the team and coaches.Â
Hudson joins the Broncos after a stellar four-year career at in-state rival Central Michigan where she is the all-time leader for the Chippewas in points (2,309), assists (643), three-pointers made (407) and free-throw percentage (.924). During her playing career Hudson was a three-time First Team All-MAC selection and is one of six individuals in NCAA Division I history with more than 400 career three-pointers made.
After her playing career in Mount Pleasant, Hudson played with the Seattle Storm of the WNBA before signing professional contract to play for Politechnika Gdanska in Gdansk, Poland.
