Juniors: Throughout five seasons of junior hockey, Worrad comes to WMU with experience playing in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL), Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL), and the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL). Worrad most recently turned in had the most success in his final junior hockey season in 2017-18 with the Steinbach Pistons in the MJHL. Worrad helped guide the Pistons to a league title, a ANAVET Cup title. Steinbach’s season was finished in the RBC Cup, competing for the Canadian Junior “A” championship. In 47 regular season games, Worrad finished second on the team in scoring with 75 points (26g-49a). He recorded hat-trick performances three times throughout the season, including a 14-game point streak Dec. 31-Feb. 9 in which he notched 31 points (10g-21a). Worrad received MJHL First All-Star Team, the league’s “Hockey Ability and Sportsmanship Award,” and the MJHL Playoff MVP.
