Kristof Kendrick

Kristoff Kendrick enters his second season as an assistant coach at WMU for the 2021-22 season. 

Prior to WMU, Kendrick spent one season as the Coordinator of Player Development and Video Operations for Bradley men's basketball. 

Kendrick is an experienced coach from the Indianapolis area, spending 10 seasons as a head and assistant coach with a number of Indianapolis high schools. Most recently, Kendrick spent two seasons as the head coach at T.C. Howe High School and was named the 2019 GIAC Conference Coach of the Year.  In two seasons, Kendrick led the Hornets to a 35-15 record with appearances in two sectional championships and the 2018 Indianapolis City Tournament title game. 

Before his time at T.C. Howe, Kendrick spent eight seasons as an assistant coach at Arsenal Tech, Cathedral and Warren Central High Schools. Kendrick is also an established AAU coach, guiding teams to the Adidas Gauntlet Summer Championship at the 15, 16 and 17U levels while coaching four McDonalds All-Americans. 

Kendrick earned his bachelor's degree at Western Michigan where he earned two letters with the Bronco men's basketball program and helped the team win the 2005 Mid-American Conference west division title. 

His father, Frank, was an All-American at Purdue before being drafted by the Golden State Warriors in 1974. His father also spent 10 seasons at his alma mater as an assistant coach from 1989 to 1999.
