PRIOR TO WESTERN MICHIGAN: Earned two varsity letters at Goodrich for head coach Tom Alward ... as a senior, earned first team all-conference honors as kicker and punter and was named the second team Flint Dream Team kicker by MLive.com ... helped the Martians to a 9-3 ledger and quarterfinal appearance in the state quarterfinals as a senior ... during final campaign, set the program record for highest punt average, most punts downed inside the opponent 20-yard line, most extra points made and most kickoff touchbacks in a game ... earned four varsity letters as a member of the soccer program and two with the track & field squad ... graduated as Goodrich’s valedictorian.
