PRIOR TO WESTERN MICHIGAN: Played three seasons at a Illinois ... Had a career-best seven tackles against Maryland in 2018 as a freshman ... Played 11 games with eight starts during rookie season in 2018, making 35 tackles ... Became just the second Illinois player to start at safety as a true freshman since 1980 (Bennett Williams in 2017) ... Played in nine games, making 22 tackles as a sophomore in 2019 ...
