Matt Childers joined WMU football as the video coordinator following the conclusion of the 2013 season. 

Childers, a native of Anchorage, Alaska, worked at his alma mater, Idaho, as the video services coordinator from 2011-13 before joining the Broncos.  As a student with the Vandals, Childers worked as the assistant video coordinator from 2004-09.

Outside of athletics, Childers was a production assistant on the feature film "Coldwood" in May of 2010.

Childers and his wife, Paula, have a daughter and all reside in Kalamazoo.
